In 1984, I was in prayer and had a vision from the Lord. (Dreams and Visions are part of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:17-18) This vision felt all consuming, as though I was being swept away to a different place. At that time in history, some prominent church leaders had been publicly exposed for their sin, and there was a lot of mockery against the Church, and I was asking the Lord about this.

The Lord took me into this vision and showed me a body filled with cancerous sores, which was the Body of Christ. He said He was going to cleanse His Church, the Body of Christ. (Reference Revelation 3:17-18) The purpose of this cleansing is to make His Church whole, healthy, and able to function in His anointing. He wants to raise us up and work through us so all the world can see His glory and know that He is God.

Then my vision went from The Body to a Map of America. I saw buckets of something being poured out from Heaven, starting on the East Coast and going across the country to the West Coast. I did not know what was in the buckets, but as they were poured out, there was true revival breaking out across the nation. People were being saved, healed and set free, having Jesus meeting in the streets and the churches.

And God said, “It would be greater than anything you have read about

in the Bible or in Church history.”

Then on the Map I saw people streaming from the four corners of America like processions of ants. They were going out into all the world to give out what God had given to them. I asked God where the money would come from to support these missionaries? He said, “Finances will not be a problem.” That made me believe that people would be so immersed in His glory, that they would gladly give to support His work.

This was the end of my 1984 vision. But I still did not know what was in those buckets. In the meantime, our family had gone out to do missionary work in the Caribbean and later in 1985 we ended up in a vacated home in Miami, Florida, waiting on God for further direction. I go up to pray one night, and as I looked at the clock, it said, 12 midnight. Before I said one word to pray, I went into another vision, just as powerful as the one in 1984. In this vision, I was standing under a waterfall. But it was the pure, liquid love of God. As I stood under it, God said that’s what was in the buckets. When He began to pour it out, He said people would call it, “The baptism in the love of God.” He also said it would make you see things differently, like when you wear sunglasses. I thought I had been standing there for one second, but when the vision was over, it was 6 a.m. in the morning.

I was still standing in the same position, as though frozen, I hadn’t moved all night. This was truly a miracle and a very real experience from God. And the feeling of being drenched in His love, was one of the most wonderful things that has ever happened to me.

I think we might be ready to experience this kind of baptism, in the Father’s Love. I believe there are two keys to revival: We must be Hungry, and seek Him with all our hearts; and, We must be Humble before Him. God loves us with a passionate love, and He wants to give us and the world more than we could even ask for.



God’s love is real and Jesus is the Way.
