Call My Disciples and Peter

Greetings Friends and Passionate Lovers of Jesus,

I felt in the Spirit as I was praying that because of the difficulty of the world’s circumstances we must be careful not to fall victim to negativity or fear. Don’t allow ourselves to be so burdened down by the circumstances and pressure that we are facing that we begin to doubt, as Jesus disciples did during the storm, when they said , “Don’t you care that we are perishing?”

Jesus did calm the storm, and He has and is, the answer for all the storms that we also are facing. Yes Jesus loves you, and Yes He does care for you. Only you must continue to Believe and Confess His Name over your life and circumstances. He will come through for you! Jesus still is enthroned upon your praises. Ps.22:3

If, for some reason, you did cave in to the circumstances that you are facing, and you said or did some things that you now regret and you may feel bad about. Don’t allow yourself to fall into condemnation. God’s love for us is much bigger than the mistakes we make along the way. I would like to encourage you and tell you that nothing has changed concerning God’s love for you; His love for you is Everlasting. Jer.31:3

We have to remind ourselves how this love relationship first began for all of us.

“God demonstrated His own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Rom.5:8 Jesus’ love for us began long before we ever loved Him , and how much more now that we are members of His eternal family.

I can just imagine how badly the Apostle Peter felt the night that Jesus was betrayed, while he looked on and denied he ever knew the Lord. Peter wept when the cock crowed because he felt so bad inside. Peter probably was thinking that Jesus would never forgive him for such a terrible thing. But when Jesus rose from the dead he made it a point to mention Peter by name, and that He was going to see Him. “But go tell His disciples and Peter” Mk.16:7 Peter so recovered from his mistake that a few weeks later he was boldly declaring the name of Jesus on the day of Pentecost and thousands were saved! God also wants us to get over it, why? Because, like with Peter, there are thousands waiting whom God has destined for you to reach with His Love and Power. I Believe I hear him calling your name. Rise up Oh man and woman of God and heed the call!
