Don’t Go Down To Egypt
We find ourselves, at this time, in the midst of a Global
Recession. Because of this ongoing crisis, the world is full
of negativity, fear and uncertainty concerning the future. As
Christians we must be careful not to allow this Hysteria to
affect our faith and confidence, as God is able to do
exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or think.
We must stay positive in a negative environment by confessing
the promises of God over our lives. The dreams and the Promises
that God has put in your heart will come to pass! Recessions
come and go but God will not fail you! I am asking that the Lord
would give you a Divine Encounter during this time to encourage
you to stay in the Land of Promise that you would receive all of
the Blessing and Favor that He has purposed for your life.
“Don’t go down to Egypt” these are the words God spoke to
Isaac
Genesis 26:1-13 tells us that there was a Famine in the land in
the time of Isaac. The Lord appeared to Isaac in verse two and
said to him, “Do not go down to Egypt” But stay in the land of
Promise. The tendency in difficult times is to return to Egypt,
to return to the world’s way to find the answer. If Plan “A” is
not working then the tendency is to resort to a plan “B” or lose
patience and give up altogether.
When the children of Israel experienced hardship in the
wilderness they also said, “Let us return to Egypt” as the Land
of Promise seemed so far away from them. God is taking you from
Glory “To” Glory by the Holy Spirit. But between the two
Glories is a wilderness, a Trial, a recession, a famine that you
must go through to get to the land of Promise. The key is to
keep the Vision fresh before you. The Word says, that where
there is no vision the people perish, or they wander aimlessly.
Pr. 29:18
Where there is Vision there will also be Supernatural
Provision
Because Isaac simply trusted God and stayed in the Land of
Promise despite the famine, God Blessed Isaac Supernaturally and
what He sowed in the Land brought forth a 100-fold increase!
Verse 12, that is amazing, because it was a time of famine.
The word says that the Lord blessed Isaac and He continued to
prosper until he became very prosperous. I ask that the Lord
would Bless you also and bring you through this time of
recession with a Mighty Harvest of Souls by sowing seeds of
Faith and Love and Hope, that Supernatural Provision will be
released by the Hand of God to each one of you.
Bless them all Heavenly Father!
